Health Analyst (CMA certified )

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Triage patient, obtain medical history and update medication list.
  • CMA Certification is a Must
  • Stock and clean exam rooms
  • Assist physicians with examination when necessary.
  • Administers treatment per physician order.
  • Gives injections per physician order, B12, PPD and flu vaccine.
  • Perform MMSE and/or MOCA testing.
  • Reports any abnormal results to physician immediately (i.e. labs, etc.).
  • Check the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) task list daily and complete. Check physicians box for  urgent messages and contact physician.
  • Complies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Adheres to organizational policy and procedure.
  • Responsible for processing and filling all prescriptions through AllScript.
  • Respond and return all patient calls and messages promptly.
 
 MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
 
  • Medical Assistant Degree and certification required.  
  • High School diploma or GED required.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
  • EHR, AllScript and Centricity knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance a must.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Punctuality and excellent attendance required.
